I know we’re gonna meet someday in the crumbled financial institutions of this land
there will be tables and chairs
pony rides and dancing bears
there’ll even be a band
’cause listen after the fall there’ll be no more countries
no currencies at all
we’re gonna live on our wits
throw away survival kits
trade butterfly knives for adderal
and that’s not all
there will be snacks, there will
there will be snacks! there will
be, there will be snacks.
Snacks, there will. Of course, it is a no brainer that I am a king for snacks. Snacks make me happy, the child inside cannot wait for dinner to be over and done, and then…the candy. As Jerry Seinfeld said “the only really clear thought I had as a kid was ‘get candy.’ Family, friends, school, they were just obstacles on the way to getting more candy.” Apparently true, candy comes in many forms. Maybe it’s just a ridiculous stretch but “candy” is more; it’s something new, an experience. For example, my wife is the best piece of “candy” I ever “tasted”, and on top, my new baby boy-just the sweetest thing in the entire universe-bar none. I say this just to say that life is full of awesome new adventures and alot of little things. Some of those being technology, video games, watching movies, listening to music, gadgets, tools, photo editing, creating movies and slideshows, and, not all the time, but strangely enough, computer/network troubleshooting. I’m not your typical geek- at least I hope not. I love all sorts of things- traveling, being out doors, drinking coffee with friends, and campfires. Consider this man to be well rounded-except for reasons unknown to me, I don’t like to read. Yet, the twist is, I like to write. I don’t understand it. Regardless, my plan is to fill this blog with my thoughts and insights. So this is the first. A Candy Blog.
