I found this perfect solution to Mail.app RSS reader NOT pulling in feeds. Its been this way for about 2 days now, that I’ve noticed, but after executing this quick terminal command I found on an Apple Discussion board, Leopard’s Mail app RSS reader will be back to normal.
1. Quit Mail
2. Open Terminal (cmd+space bar, type in “Terminal”)
3. Paste in this command: /usr/bin/sqlite3 ~/Library/PubSub/Database/Database.sqlite3 vacuum
If you do it right, like I did the second time, Terminal will look like what’s highlighted in the picture below:
Open up Mail again and it will look for updates to RSS feeds. Again, simple and quick.
